Swn y Gwynt is a spacious, well equipped bungalow and enjoys a lovely rural location on the outskirts of the small hamlet of Trefgarn Owen and within 2.5 miles from the long sandy 'blue flag' beach at Newgale where one can join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path or try the water sports on offer.

St Davids and its impressive Cathedral are nearby as well as a host of historic sites and the picturesque harbour of Solva with its popular pubs, restaurants and galleries. Oakwood Theme Park is also convenient if exhilarating rides and adventure is your choice.

Comfortably furnished, the lounge/diner offers twin aspects over the enclosed, lawned garden and borders. The lawn is a south facing sun trap.

Approached from the A487, Haverfordwest to St David’s road with the final 2 miles along an unclassified well surfaced road which is single carriageway and narrow in places. Main entrance to the property is through a wooden gate direct from the highway and which is wide to take vehicles. The access route is level throughout. Car parking is on hard standing or gravel for 3 cars and is level with a concrete 1000mm wide path round the property. Entrance to the front and back doors is off this path with one step and a small step over the door threshold. Internally, all rooms within the property are on the same level. All doors are standard 1981mm high and 762mm wide. The bathroom is fitted with a bath with shower over, whb, wc. A strong grab handle is provided over the bath, together with an anti-slip mat, and water to the bath and shower is thermostatically controlled and has an anti-scold safety device fitted. Decoration and floor coverings throughout the property are in light colours and all rooms have natural light. All rooms have good electric lighting with most rooms having dimming controls. The kitchen has plenty of worktop space at standard height. The oven/grill is integrally built beneath the worktop. The cooker hob is ceramic with halogen heating areas. A fridge and 12-place dishwasher is also fitted beneath the worktop. Adjacent to the kitchen is a utility room which has an automatic washing machine and Belfast sink along with an upright fridge freezer. All cooking is by electric and heating by oil fired boiler to radiators with individual thermostatic control. There is no gas or open fires to the property. Television and entertainment equipment are all operated by remote control. The main lounge television has a 37in high definition screen, and can deliver subtitles. TV and radio reception is excellent. A landline telephone is provided and accepts incoming calls. Outgoing calls can be made to local, long distance and mobiles where call charges apply. A public telephone is within 50m of the property. Mobile reception is limited. A WiFi service is available free throughout the property. Guide dogs welcomed. The garden, laid mainly to lawn, and paths around the property are all on the same level with no steps or slopes. Pathways around the property and the parking area are lit by movement operated floodlights. There is limited public transport with a bus service to Haverfordwest from the village on Tuesdays and Fridays only – a level walk of 50m from the property to the bus shelter. The coastal path ‘Puffin’ bus service operates May to September to avoid retracing steps along the coastal path which runs 2 miles from the property. The nearest railway station is 9 miles away at Haverfordwest with departures every 2 hours to Manchester and gives connections to most parts of the UK rail network.
